Commissioned Branding for Vinyl 76
 
Vinyl 76 is an independent record store owned by John Hurst a record hoarder who sells Jazz, Blues and Soul music, and is due to open next year in conjunction with record store day. 
 
The store will be situated in Manchester's cultural Northern Quarter, details are to follow this year.
 
The approach to the brief was to create an illustration that remained lose and flowed structurally. It was also important to the client that the branding had a tactile quality and feel that was reminiscent to vinyl itself. This was created with a layer of textured giclée paper, copper tones, gradients and metallic silvers.
